Acupuncture & Fertility? Does this really help?

Hi Ladies~

A friend of mine who was TTC for a few months, turned to acupuncture for a month & she finally got pregnant.
A co-worker tried IVF, which didnt take, turned to acupuncture, & you guessed it, got pregnant!

I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of acupuncture helping with fertility?

kbc, you are right...it is expensive. I think the first session is $90 than every other after is $65 each visit.

I went to acupuncture weekly for over a year and didn't have any luck. I stopped going regularly then finally had success with my second IVF. I do think it made my menstruation more healthy. The color had improved drastically. I really think that was due more to the herbs than the actual acupuncture. I didn't have any changes for the first 8 months, then started strong herbs and saw the change.

The acupuncture definitely helped with my migraines and anytime I went in with locked muscles they were relieved immediately. So I guess in a round about way it helped b/c it seemed to make my uterine lining more healthy - even though that was the reason why I wasn't getting pregnant.
